Bob Lurie is a Director of Monitor Group and CEO of Monitor's M2C® subsidiary. Since joining Monitor in 1985, he has concentrated on
customer brand, competitive, and industry evolution analyses, leading
to the development of marketing, business unit, and corporate strategies
for clients in a wide variety of industries.
He has, in the course of this work, been deeply involved in helping
clients build their marketing capabilities, by designing practical,
powerful applications for addressing marketing issues and assisting
them in adopting, adapting and embedding them in their organization.
Bob received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University.
He received a B.A., summa cum laude, in Economics from Amherst College,
where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to his work with Monitor,
Dr. Lurie taught and conducted research as an Assistant Professor
of Economics at Brandeis University.
